Frequently asked questions.

What should I wear?

Depending on what type of session you booked, I always recommend earth tones, neutrals, or dark rich tones. In some cases, such as personal branding shoots or styled shoots feel free to wear brighter colored clothes or jewel tones. Stay away from neon colors and too many patterns. When in doubt shoot me an email!

What if my session goes over the time allotted, will I be charged?

If we are getting creative and getting good content, don’t worry about being charged! Sometimes I like to try new things and that might take a little longer than planned.

On the other hand if you show up a half hour late into your session without notifying me and the shoot is taking longer than expected I will charge a $25 late fee.

What if I don’t know how to pose?

Don’t worry to much about this! at first you may feel a little stiff and awkward and I will help you, but after about 15 min into your session you will posing like a Vogue model!

In addition to posing, I lean more towards candid and natural shots so you will notice me shooting pictures of your and your family talking and laughing or you and your significant other walking and joking around. Just remember to act natural and have fun!

If my shoot includes an outfit change, where will I change?

Most of our shoots will take place in local parks such as Chestnut Ridge Park, or Knox Farm. If you have an outfit change I will either choose a location to shoot that is by a nearby restroom or set aside time to walk back to a to an area for you to change. No big deal!
